LoopBe1 is a MIDI virtual device that works to transfer data between two or more programs in the PC. You could define it as a type of "invisible cable" with which to connect a MIDI exit to any application with a MIDI entry. All the MIDI data that are sent from the exit of one program are sent in real time to the other.



LoopBe1 lets you connect up to 8 applications to its entry port, and 8 to the exit, all of them sending and receiving data at the same time. The program latency is the minimum possible, as it is kernel-mode driver for Windows. Because these types of programs don´t need to link to specialized libraries, LoopBe1 can work with any application with MIDI or DirectMusic support. It also incorporates an icon in the system tray for easier use. You can activate it or disactivate it as if it were a hardware device, and check its status in an instant.



LoopBe1 has a very powerful shortcut detector to avoid the problem of MIDI retrofeed. If it detects a retrofeed LoopBe1 immediately blocks the port, interrupts the loop and shows an on-screen message.



LoopBe1 is completely free and only needs just under a megabyte of space.
